Hi John

Just thought I'd send you a couple of pictures of the floor, it looks better than I could have imagined. Thanks for all your help and I will recommend your company to anyone that will listen!

All the best for the future

Janet Miles

Dear John

Many thanks for your fast service in supplying us with your oak flooring. We are delighted with the end result and are certainly pleased we have not chosen a lacquered floor and took your advice in using the Treatex hardwax oil finish.
Many thanks for all your help.

Our solid oak floor looks superb and was really easy to lay. We are delighted with it. And the ordering, delivery and handling of enquiries at your end has been slick and professional. That's why we have returned for a second order.

Kind regards.

Subject: Oak Flooring

Dear John

Thanks for supplying the oak flooring at the end of February/beginning of March. I have successfully laid the floor and attach a photograph. (Picture shows floor as laid without wax treatment.)

I found that the wastage was less than expected, and I still have enough to fit one more small room.

Thanks for your help. I have passed details on to a colleague at work who wants to lay an oak floor in a cottage property.

Regards
Kevin Hoban

John

Back in May you supplied me with 6 packs of the 120mm wide Oak Flooring and an appropriate quantity of Elastilon and Treatex. I've now completed the installation of the flooring in the hall and and am pleased to report that we are thrilled with the result and most impressed with all the materials you supplied. The flooring was clearly high quality and the Elastilon was very easy to use. Finally, the Treatex finished the whole thing off very well indeed. A most impressive experience from first contact, through delivery to completion!

In fact, we're so pleased with the end result that we've decided to continue the flooring through to our adjacent Dining Room once the summer is over.

Once again, thank you for the excellent service and I'll be in touch probably at the start of September with our next order.

Kind regards
Edmund

Dear JFJ,

Just a line to express my appreciation for the superb service in despatching to me the Elastilon underlay for the wooden floor. Within an hour of talking to you yesterday, the goods had arrived by courier. I also appreciate the gesture of supplying the hard wax treatment. You have restored my faith in British commerce. You deserve to have great success.

Regards,
Peter McLoughlin.

PS: A soon as I have the floor finished and the room decorated, I will send you a photograph of the finished item.

Subject: stunned

Just spent three days laying and treating my new floor. There was plenty of fiddly bids around my funny shaped hall but with a table saw, a mitre saw and a bit of patience it was a breeze. I am absoloutely stunned by the results. Do you do skirting and architrave to match?

Dear Mr Fanthorpe

Your flooring arrived yesterday as agreed and on time. I must confess that I now appreciate why you insist there must be someone available to help unload the carriers as the weight of the 51 boxes of flooring is considerable.(Originally as you know I felt this request was unnecessary and inconvenient for ourselves) We have opened some of the boxes and laid them out onto the area to be covered. It just looks fantastic and we can't wait to see them being laid tomorrow by our carpenter.

I personally have spent hours on the internet with many of the larger companies looking at samples etc including buying from one of them who lists highly on the Google pages only to have to return the goods due to extremely poor quality and a higher price than I eventually bought from you. I also feel the sales person had very little knowledge of the product he was selling and we would have been very lucky to get any form of refund without our knowledge as solicitors.

The service that you have offered has been second to none and I do appreciate the time you have given us with our long winded questions (after being caught out on our first purchase). Long may the smaller company that actually cares remain.

I am about to send you some of the literature that I have received from some of your competitors that may be of interest to you. I will also send you some photographs of the finished floor within the next few days but would appreciate that you do not use them on your web site for privacy reasons. [NB None of the photos above are from Mr Williamson]. We have found through experience that samples of flooring are very misleading from all companies. Your use of ordinary photographs taken by your clients is by far the best way of giving a true visual/description of the finished floor. One thing I would say is put your prices up as your flooring is worth every penny. We paid far more from our original source and the timber was not nearly as good as your flooring.

Many thanks again

Subject: Return of goods - Thanks for your help!

Dear John

I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say how much I enjoyed dealing with your company. You made what could have been an awkward situation very easy. Although the wood wasn't right for our situation, we really appreciated the ease with which you helped organise the return of the goods. The fact that the refund was absolutely no problem was also a weight off our minds, as anyone doing renovations knows budget becomes key by the end and not having to panic about paying for two sets of flooring really made thatparticular job a lot easier!

You were unfailingly cheery during the whole buying and returning process and I would not hesitate to recommend your company to others looking for well priced flooring.
Have a very Merry Christmas,
Kind regards,

Amy Devlin
